An End

One month has passed. I survived the desert for a month. To think that this was not my ideal place (if there is ever such a thing), I've now grown accustomed to life here.

I stumbled upon this song on a fellow blogger's site, and listened to it. It has been a while since I listened to Green Day. It reminded me of a good friend. I have two of the same Green Day CDs at one time, one was a gift for her. That was a long time ago.

Time and tide waits for no man. I may look back and reflect sometimes, but I guess letting bygones be bygones is the best way. Move forward, move on. How time flies.

I think I'm doing pretty well here, coping with the multitude of activities and reading that needs to be done, assignments here and there. Nothing too difficult, just time consuming. But I'm keeping up, taking things as they come, not too disappointed when things don't go as planned.

Wake Me Up When September Ends (Green Day)

summer has come & passed,
the innocent can never last,
wake me up when september ends.

like my fathers come to pass,
seven years has gone so fast,
wake me up when september ends.

here comes the rain again,
falling from the stars,
drenched in my pain again,
becoming who we are.

as my memory rests,
but never forgets what i lost,
wake me up when september ends.

summer has come & passed,
the innocent can never last,
wake me up when september ends.

ring out the bells again,
like we did when spring began,
wake me up when september ends.

here comes the rain again,
falling from the stars,
drenched in my pain again,
becoming who we are.

as my memory rests,
but never forgets what i lost,
wake me up when september ends.

summer has come & passed,
the innocent can never last,
wake me up when september ends.

like my fathers come to pass,
twenty years has gone so fast,
wake me up when september ends..

Yes, September is ending soon. Autumn awaits.
