Am well and alive, except for this bloody blocked nose that wouldn't go away. It's hot hot hot here, a toasty 105 Fahrenheit. Gotta go. Will update soon.

Stuck in Narita

3 hours delay in KLIA last night. Typhoon Mawar hit Tokyo before dawn. And now, for the same reason, flight to Dallas cancelled. 4 hours delay waiting for flight to LA instead. Will fly to San Diego and then Phoenix. Will reach Phoenix at 5 p.m.
Shucks. I am not even halfway through my trip yet.

Resurrection Part 2? Or Is Resurrection Over?

It sort of finally dawned upon me that this is my last few hours in KL, the city I grew up in, and the home I know of. At the moment, I am doing some last minute uploads into my portable harddrive, while looking at the incompleteness of my cleaning up of things. Ah well, there is little I can do, I'll set off in 2 hours' time.

I will of course be back in a year's time. It's just that I feel I have much unfinished business. I still need to pysche myself. Well, I have 30 hours or so to do that in my journey to my new (temporary) home. It hasn't quite sunk in yet. But I think it is beginning to do so.

I guess I will just have to adjust and not miss my drive around the city (when there is less traffic). The impromptu meet ups and lunches that is so taken for granted all this while. The great company of friends I have here. The comfort of family and home will be missed.

It's not like this is the first time I am going away. But having been here continuously for the past 4 years makes it harder to make a move. I would think this is for the better, yup, for self improvement, meeting new people, meeting new challenges, discovering new knowledge and sharpening what I already have.

It was a rather quick/sudden decision to take up this option of going to the US, if it had been the UK, I would have have another 3-4 weeks here to say proper goodbyes to everyone. I'm sorry if I didn't get to see some of you in person to say goodbye, please keep in touch. You can also drop by this blog, I'll be updating more frequently I think, with pictures I hope. For those who wrote, smsed and called, thank you very much for your wishes. For those who asked me to shop in Victoria Secret for them, sorry, no can do :P
